Summer Weather Forecast Ireland 2010

UPDATED SUMMER FORECAST - May 13th 2010

Overall a cooler and drier Summer than the last 3 years but only a couple of warm spells. However flooding should not be a problem apart from some thundery outbreaks perhaps in July.


MAY: Dry overall  with cool conditions. Perhaps a little rain but no prolonged warm spells
   
 TEMPS: Below Normal
 RAINFALL: Below Normal

JUNE: Dry at first, some rain midmonth with dry and warm weather to end.

TEMPS: Above Normal
RAINFALL: Below Normal


JULY: Warm weather for first week then warm and thundery

TEMPS: Above Normal
RAINFALL: Above Normal

AUGUST: Rain mixed with dry spells                
TEMPS: Below Normal
                               
RAINFALL: Normal

May 2010 has been cool and dry for the first half of the month in Ireland. 

Average Temperature 8.6c much below normal

Sunshine 111%

Rainfall 56%
